Scientific research

Since Aquasearch was founded, research has been at the heart of our activities, enabling us to expand our knowledge of rare species, gain a better understanding of species that have already been studied, and thus better preserve the marine ecosystem.

Aquasearch is now associated with numerous public and private scientific partners on knowledge acquisition projects. These projects also provide an opportunity to involve university partners and thus contribute to the training of undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students.

Impact studies

With its extensive knowledge of the marine environment, Aquasearch has been involved in anthropogenic impact studies since its creation. Whether conducting pre-construction studies, monitoring construction, or monitoring commissioning, Aquasearch has the tools and expertise to carry out studies for the implementation of development projects, marine fauna and flora inventories, and even species conservation.

Training

The Aquasearch team regularly provides training for several organizations, teaching people scientific observation techniques, procedures for responding to wildlife in distress, and other skills.

Audiovisual

Our many years of experience in underwater photography have enabled us at Aquasearch to develop expertise that allows us to meet our clients’ expectations. Over time, we have developed recognized expertise in photography and video. Beyond scientific research, Aquasearch is now sought after for audiovisual projects (photo and video) requiring underwater photography.
